Jozi Innovation Centre -Johannesburg, Gauteng

Jozi Innovation Centre is an aftercare centre in Hillbrow, a busy inner-city neighbourhood in Johannesburg. The area faces many challenges, including overcrowding, high unemployment, poverty, prostitution and crime. The centre cares for about 30 primary school children who go there after school. They focus on helping the children with reading and homework, and have recently started using the Reading Eggs online literacy program. Jozi Innovation Centre were very happy to receive ABCA books, which will be a big help in supporting their reading program and encouraging the children to read.
