Safe Spaces Kenya

Safe Spaces in Kenya recently received a delivery of ABCA books.

Safe Spaces’ mission is to provide a safe space for young girls and young women to learn, develop and grow into strong qualified women who can escape poverty with a goal to build a stronger generation of young women who can make a difference in their future and in their communities. They believe that each girl has the power to become a role model and a leader in the community.

They wrote: "Our after school reading clubs give girls a quiet place to read, learn, and grow together. Through books, storytelling, and poetry, girls strengthen literacy skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong connection to learning.

The clubs are part of Safe Spaces’ after school programming, helping keep girls safe, engaged, and supported beyond the school day."
