ABCA books were distributed by Bet on Better NPO in North West Province, Johannesburg. Books were distributed through their help to early learning centres in the rural communities in the Groot Marico and Zeerust districts.

On behalf of Bet On Better NPO, the children, teachers, early learning centres and rural communities we serve, we would like to express our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude for your humongous donation of books.

We honestly cannot put into words what this donation means to us.

For children growing up in rural areas, access to books and quality early learning resources is often something that cannot be taken for granted. Your generosity is helping to change that. These books will give young children the opportunity to explore, imagine, learn, develop their language and literacy skills, and most importantly, discover the joy of reading from an early age.

A book may seem like a simple gift, but for a child who has never had access to a library or a collection of age-appropriate books, it can open an entirely new world.

Your donation will support early learning development in rural communities, where these resources are desperately needed. The books will be placed into the hands of children and educators who will use them to learn, teach, share stories and create meaningful learning experiences.

We are incredibly grateful that Australian Books for Children of Africa chose to support this work. Your generosity will reach far beyond the individual books you have donated. You are investing in children’s futures, their education, their confidence and their possibilities.
