ABCA books were delivered by Katuba Literacy to Chithumba Day Secondary School in Vubwi District, Eastern Province, Zambia. Katuba Literacy is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve literacy and promote a strong culture of reading in schools and communities in underprivileged areas.

Happy to announce that after several hurdles, the second batch of books have now been delivered to Chitumba Day Secondary School in Vubwi District, Eastern Province of Zambia, located about 500km from the capital Lusaka. We are truly grateful for the partnership with ABCA. The school has very little resources, and many are the volunteers who made the delivery possible - both on and off the continent. Thank you!

Lenier who arranged the book delivery writes:

These rural learners are really suffering in terms of literacy at least we have where to start from. Those are the first story books that the school ever had and all thanks to you and your group who works tirelessly to help the needy.
